Discoloration under the eyes is typically caused by volume loss and can be corrected with filler injections of hyaluronic acid in an area called treat tough. Filler injections in the area are complicated and there should be consideration placed on skin tightening as the years go by with modalities like IPL and Lasers.

If you are ready for surgical correction then I would recommend an expert oculo-plastic surgeon to perform a fat transposition lower blepharoplasty where your lower orbital fat is relocated into the hollow undereye area. Your face can easily be restored to it more youthful volume and appearance with a mirror procedure called fat grafting. Someone like you does not require facelift and probably should stay away from fillers. Bad grafting should provide you with natural and permanent results.
