Hi, I have always had these weird nose dimples either side of my nose wondering how I can get rid of them without drastic surgery? Is filler an option? I really hate them and it makes me so depressed. I can’t afford an operation, so looking for other affordable options.
Answer: Morpheus8 and/or CO2 Laser Resurfacing Hello! My name is Jessica, I am a physician assistant, and one of the providers at Aesthetic Skin - Winnetka & Chicago. This is a great question. Those small dimples or indentations on either side of the nose—especially if you’ve had them as long as you can remember—are often just a natural part of your facial anatomy, possibly caused by the way your muscles, fat pads, or skin attach in that area. While it’s totally understandable to want to smooth them out, filler is generally not a good option for treating this specific concern. The skin around the nose is delicate, and there are important blood vessels in the area, which makes it higher risk for complications if filler is placed there unnecessarily. Instead, non-invasive options like Morpheus8 (RF-microneedling)), or CO2 laser resurfacing can help improve skin texture and collagen production, which might soften the appearance of these dimples over time. If they're caused by tethered skin or tight connective tissue, treatments that stimulate collagen and remodel the skin's surface can gradually make them less noticeable. Another low-risk option is using topical retinoids or peptides to encourage skin renewal, although the effects will be subtle and take time. I hope this helps and best of luck!

Answer: Nasal Cosmetics Hello and thank you for your question. You may benefit from an injectable filler treatment to address the issues you've described. An in person consultation with a facial plastic surgeon or experienced injector may be of benefit to you.

Answer: Exploring Non-Surgical Options for Nose Dimples: Is Filler a Viable Solution? It's understandable to want to explore non-surgical options for addressing this concern, especially if surgery is not feasible for you at the moment. Dermal fillers are indeed a viable option for addressing minor depressions or dimples in the skin, including those on the nose. Fillers can add volume to the area, smoothing out the dimples and improving the overall contour of your nose. Here are some key points to consider: Temporary Solution: Fillers are a temporary solution that typically last between 6 to 18 months, depending on the type of filler used and individual factors. Procedure: The procedure is minimally invasive, usually involving a few injections in the targeted area with little to no downtime. Immediate Results: You will likely see immediate improvement after the procedure, with full results visible once any initial swelling subsides. Consultation: It's important to consult with a qualified dermatologist or cosmetic specialist who can assess your specific needs and recommend the most suitable type of filler for your situation. Cost: Fillers are generally more affordable than surgery, but prices can vary based on the type of filler and the provider. I recommend scheduling a consultation with a dermatologist who can evaluate your specific case and discuss the best treatment options to achieve your desired results.

Answer: Sometimes yes, but your nose may be be a bit wide and droopy. Based on your singular photo, you appear to have thin nasal skin with a wide nasal appearance and a droopy tip. Microdroplet Silikon-1000 injections may be considered for eliminating some of these indentations, however, that would only lead to a wider nasal appearance. You may wish to consider Consulting with a reputable rhinoplasty specialist so you can see what might be best for you moving forward. Thank you for this question. Sincerely, Dr Joseph
