I wanted to get suggestions that don't have to do with traditional filler. Natural filler or surgery or lasers are considerations but I would like something with the least risk. I have had hollow tear troughs since I was 23 and I would like an improvement. The tear trough area that bothers me are the upper eyelid where there is hollows and the skin besides the inner eye and the under eyes. What can I do to improve these areas around the eye?
Answer: Eye area You may want to explore Morpheus8. This treatment combines RF technology with microneedling to improve overall skin tone and texture. It is safe to use around the eye area. Answer: Undereye PRP Hi, I’m Lauren, the aesthetic injector here at Colorado Plastic Surgery Center. Undereye PRP is a great natural alternative to filler, especially for patients looking to brighten and rejuvenate the under-eye area. It works by improving circulation and stimulating collagen, which helps fade dark circles, smooth fine lines, and enhance overall skin texture. While it doesn’t add volume like filler, PRP can naturally plump the skin and reduce the appearance of mild hollowness. Because it’s derived from your own blood, it’s a safe, minimally invasive treatment with low downtime, making it a great option for those seeking a refreshed, more rested look. However, it’s always best to consult with a skilled provider who can assess your unique needs and goals. They can recommend a personalized treatment plan just for you.

Answer: Exploring Non-Filler Options for Tear Trough Hollow Correction: Effective and Low-Risk Alternatives If you are seeking alternatives to traditional fillers for addressing tear trough hollows, there are several options you might consider, each with varying degrees of invasiveness and effectiveness. Here are some potential treatments: Fat Transfer: This procedure involves harvesting fat from another area of your body and injecting it into the tear troughs. It provides a more natural and longer-lasting result compared to synthetic fillers. Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP) Therapy: PRP uses components of your own blood to rejuvenate the skin and stimulate collagen production, which can help improve the appearance of hollows over time. Microneedling with PRP: This combination can enhance skin texture and promote collagen production, potentially reducing the appearance of hollows. Laser Treatments: Lasers such as fractional CO2 or erbium can improve skin texture and stimulate collagen production, which may help reduce the appearance of hollows. Radiofrequency Treatments: Non-invasive procedures like Thermage use radiofrequency energy to tighten skin and stimulate collagen production, which can improve the overall appearance of the eye area. Skincare Regimen: Incorporating products with ingredients like retinoids, hyaluronic acid, and peptides can support skin health and improve the appearance of fine lines and hollows over time. Surgical Options: For a more permanent solution, lower blepharoplasty can reposition fat or remove excess skin, addressing hollowness and improving overall eye contour. Each of these options has its own benefits and risks. It's important to consult with a dermatologist or plastic surgeon who can assess your specific concerns and recommend the most appropriate treatment plan for your needs. They will help you weigh the potential outcomes and risks to find a solution that aligns with your goals for minimal risk and effective results.

Answer: Treating lower eyelid, hollow The hollows which one SEES IN their lower eyelid area are usually a hereditary trademark from the father’s side of the family. I would definitely discourage you from using fillers. Fat grafting is the single best way to address these areas. In the right hands the results are natural and permanent. I hope this helps and good luck from Leonard Grossman, M.D. organic Plastic surgery NYC
