In my professional opinion going to Turkey for a hair transplant can be a risky choice, this is based off my experience and repair work that I have performed for patient's. Most likely, whoever was doing the surgery did not have the proper training or experience. I would say that it was better that they decided to stop instead of destroy your donor zone and follicles. If you're still interested in a procedure I would recommend you consult with experienced hair transplant physicians who verifiably specialize in ethnic hair transplants, do one surgery per day, and you should make sure the doctor is conducting the surgery. I totally understand how you were feeling. However, I think it's great that they actually stopped the procedure and told you that they could not continue any further. Some places wouldn't tell the patients and just went on destroying the patients' donor area. Sometimes it is difficult to tell just looking by naked eyes, that's the reason why some surgeons do 'testing' before the real procedure. They will appoint the patients with curly hair to do some test graft to see if there is a lot of transection. If there is a high rate of transection, the procedure might be switched from FUE to FUT.
