Hello! Thank you for your question. As far as I can see from your photos you have extra saggy skin above your eyes. For more fresh, young and elegant look I suggest you upper eyelid blepharoplasty. Also you have hollowness under your eyes with the fat injection to under eye area this image can be removed. If you can provide photos with better lighting, from the side of your face and 1 meter away I would be able to make a proper evaluation.Best Regards!
Thank you for your question and for providing photos. You appear to be a candidate for blepharoplasty to address the excess skin around your eyes. This surgical procedure can redefine the shape of the eyes by removing the excess skin and repositioning fat as needed to create a symmetrical appearance that is harmonious with the rest of your facial features. These steps can provide a long-lasting, youthful, and awake result. I recommend scheduling an in-person consultation with an experienced, board-certified facial plastic surgeon. They’ll be able to discuss your concern with you and suggest the best approach to help you achieve your aesthetic goals.
Thank you for your question and the photo you provided. Due to the amount of excess skin you have, I would say you are an excellent upper blepharoplasty candidate. Make sure you consult with a board certified plastic surgeon so they can discuss this procedure in detail, make sure you ask about 1. local vs. general anesthesia2. scar placement3. down time: real vs. social4. scar management 5. post op maintenanceGood luck!
Hi Aly,Based on your photos, you would likely benefit from an upper blepharoplasty, which would help to alleviate some of the skin that rests too low. It also looks like you would need a temporal browlift, to help the area to the side of your eye and give your brows more youthful shape. Without the browlift, you may have not have as optimal of a result. Of course whether or not you're a good candidate for surgery is not just your aesthetic appearance but whether you meet health criteria for the surgery and have reasonable expectations around the result. This all is determined in a consultation with a facial plastic surgeon. Hope this helps and best of luck! - Dr. Cabin
For significant improvement, hooded eyelids require surgery if there is enough skin. For nonsurgical treatments: Radiofrequency (Thermage or Venus Legacy/Viva), injectable fillers, and a Botox brow lift can help contour the eyebrows and lift the eyelid skin. I recommend getting a formal evaluation with an experienced cosmetic dermatologist. Best, Dr. Emer.
You seem to be a candidate for upper blepharoplasty. In person consultation with a board certified plastic or oculoplastic surgeon is recommended. Good luck.
Yes, you are a great candidate for an upper blepharoplasty. This procedure will make your eyes look more open and less tired. It will remove the excess skin which is touching your lashes. There will be an incision in the fold which will fade with time. The procedure can be done in the office under local anesthesia. Good luck!
The very delicate skin around the eyes tends to get crepey and puffy due to fatigue and stress. Eyelid surgery has become one of my most popular procedures. If excess upper eyelid skin is hooding the eye and needs to be eliminated, an incision is made in the crease at the top of the lid and excess fat and skin are removed. The incisions are closed and sutured on the underside of the skin. If there is also upper eyelid sagging ptosis repair is performed to tighten and lift the levator muscle and reduce eyelid drooping. An effective non-surgical option that might benefit you is Thermage, which can tighten the skin around the eyes. The new and improved Thermage is a virtually painless, non-invasive (no incision!) treatment that can tighten skin and stimulate your body to make healthier collagen—the building block that provides structure to your skin. Fast and easy, Thermage requires no downtime from normal activities. The use of certain topical creams can also be helpful to reduce the appearance of dark circles and puffiness around the eyes. I suggest making an appointment with a board certified plastic surgeon experienced in blepharoplasty.
Thank you for your question. Yes an upper eyelid blepharoplasty is an effective way to reduce overhanging upper eyelid skin also called dermatochalasisThe position of your eyebrow is also very important. Your surgeon can evaluate brow position and make certain that part of the problem is not brow ptosis or sagging of the brow. The high point of your brow at the junction of the inside two thirds an outside one third of the eyebrow should be above the orbital bone. The and experienced eyelid surgeon for a safe and effective result.
From the pictures you appear to be an excellent candidate for an upper blepharoplasty. You appear to have significant excess skin even with the eyes closed, a usual indicator of a reasonable outcome. Make sure you see someone who specializes in rejuvenation of this area and has extensive experience.
