Uneven Crooked Swelling 6 months after rhinoplasty (Photo)

As a result of many factors, the healing process can take as long as a year so is best to have a little patience and follow your specialist recommendations. Hi @sophie_12345. I would recommend waiting 1 year to judge the final outcome of your nose. If you are unhappy after the 1 year mark, I would consider a revision rhinoplasty.

Thank you for your question.From the photos you provided it looks like your nostrils are uneven and especially the tip of your nose is deviated to the left.Overall your nose looks great, but if these things disturb you, you can get a revision rhinoplasty surgery (please keep in mind that you will probably need cartilage reconstruction from ear/or/rib).Best regards!

Overall your nose looks good. If you feel there is still swelling in the tip you could ask your surgeon about steroid injections in the tip. This will help bring firm the swelling faster and thin out your thick skin

Based on your photos, you may have more swelling along the right side wall of your nose than your left. That can cause a crooked nasal appearance. Please consider addressing your concerns with your surgeon and certainly sit tight as you are not completely healed at this point. Hope this helps! Dr Joseph
