It is difficult to assess your breast shape based on your photo. A side view would help. Tuberous breasts are characterized by constriction of tissue around the nipples, an indistinct breast fold and possible nipple/areola puffiness. If you display these traits, then you may have tuberous breasts.
Thank you for your question and photo. An examination in person would be required to properly evaluate you and provide appropriate recommendations, however it appears that you have a relatively short distance between your nipple/areola and the bottom of your breast or inframammary fold, also known as a "constricted lower pole". It also appears that you might have some asymmetry (which is very common). Please consult with an experienced board certified plastic surgeon whose aesthetics appeal to you based on his or her Before and After gallery. Your options may include breast augmentation with or without a reduction of areolar diameter. Don't be confused by the term "breast lift" which is the common term for "mastopexy". It simply refers to the modification of the skin envelope of the breast. In your case your nipples my not need to be "lifted" but you may benefit from reducing the diameter of your areolae. Your other choice is to accept your breasts as they are, since they appear to be pretty despite these features. Best of luck to you.
Dear CuriousF,it is hard to tell for sure without an examination. If you are considering surgery, I would suggest you consult a board-certified plastic surgeon. Only after a thorough examination, you will get more information and recommendations.Daniel Barrett, MDCertified, American Board of Plastic SurgeryMember, American Society of Plastic SurgeryMember, American Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery

Your breasts are widely separated and you have herniated nipples. The technique I recommend is a mini lift. Using a circumareola incision, your breast tissue is reshaped, elevated higher on the chest wall and more medial to increase your cleavage. At the same time, fat transfers or small...
