Is tinted sunscreen safe after microneedling?

Hi, Great question, and the answer is … it depends.
I would look for a mineral based product with a zinc sunscreen in it. My favorites are Hydropeptide brand tinted sunscreen, great because it is light and tints to the color of your own skin. Or you can use a mineral based powder like Jane Iredale which is zinc based and specially formulated for post procedures and sensitive skin. I like their pressed powder for post micro needling as it provides good coverage for the redness and sunscreen. Both products are helpful for the healing process as well.
