Question

Do I have Synmastia? I had an uplift with 240CC mod+ Xtra mentor implants. I was recommended a small implant and didn’t want to go too large anyway. I am still waiting for my right side to drop also. I’m 29 years old, 5ft 4 and 112-114lbs roughly. These photos are months post surgery. I am due to go for a review but want a second opinion

The photos show the breasts sitting quite close together with fullness toward the midline, but a photo alone cannot confirm true symmastia. True symmastia means the skin and soft tissue over the breastbone have lifted away so the implant pockets communicate or nearly communicate; a close cleavage line, swelling, implant position, or one side not dropping can look similar.

At several months, this is worth reviewing with your surgeon in person. They can check whether the sternal skin is still attached, whether the implant pockets were dissected too medially, whether implant width/profile is contributing, and whether the right implant simply needs more time to settle. If it is true symmastia, treatment may require pocket repair/capsulorrhaphy and sometimes a change in implant choice, but that decision depends on the exam and how stable the tissues are. Avoid trying to push or massage the implants inward until your surgeon has assessed it.

You have a mild version of it. I would suggest going down in size for these are too large and wide for your frame and look like balls on your chest.
