Question

I recently had a consultation where I was recommended a minimum of Motiva Ergonomix Demi 260 cc. However, I’m worried that this might look too large on my frame. My goal is very small, natural-looking breasts with minimal projection. I don’t want a pushed-forward or round look. I mainly want to look proportional and balanced with my body. I also don’t want the breasts to look widely separated, but I specifically want to avoid strong projection. My breast base width is approximately 11–11.5 cm. Based on this, would a smaller size in the 200–250 cc range be more appropriate for achieving a natural, low-projection B cup? And which Motiva Ergonomix profile and size would best suit these goals? I was thinking about 220cc or 235cc Mini. I am 55kg 166cm and I have athletic build. Also should I go under or over the muscle?

Thank you for your question. I have just submitted a paper on wide chest with narrow breast implants. I have been in practice for over 30 years and breast augmentation and revisionary breast surgery is a large portion of my practice. I see many patients whose breast measurements would dictate a larger implant or a moderate profile implant. I believe that a smaller, narrow based implant gives more projection and also makes the chest appear more narrow and attractive. You should be able to have an excellent result. Best wishes to you.

Thank you for your question and photos. You have a petite frame and a cup size for you is 150-200cc. I would suggest dual plane augmentation via an inframammary incision.
