I’ve been doing a lot of yoga and am slim, I’ve revelry noticed these white lines where my arm folds - should I be worried ? Will putting on weight help or will fraxel help? Thanks x

Based on your images, these lines appear to be natural skin folds rather than stretch marks. Stretch marks typically present as thinner, more blanched skin with a different texture, whereas what you’re seeing looks like normal creases that form due to movement and positioning of the arms.

If these folds are bothering you, gaining some weight or muscle mass could slightly change their appearance by adding volume to the area. However, if your skin remains in a folded position frequently, these creases may become more visible over time. In terms of treatment, FRAXEL laser is not likely to be beneficial in this situation, as it primarily targets stretch marks, scars, and pigmentation issues rather than natural skin folds.

At this point, there is nothing to worry about—these lines are a normal anatomical feature that many people have, especially with regular movement and exercise like yoga. However, if you notice changes in skin texture, color, or elasticity over time, you may want to consult with a dermatologist or plastic surgeon for further evaluation.
