Steroid injections post rhinoplasty - are there any drawbacks? (Photos)

Jubilant556483
I'm 1 year post-op for a septorhinoplasty and I think I may have slight pollybeak deformity. I know it's normal for some swelling to remain even after a year, but I'm worried that it will turn into permanent scar tissue. I went to my surgeon recently and he confirmed that the area I'm worried about is soft tissue and not cartilage, however he said that there was no point in having steroid injections. I really want to see if i can reduce this swelling before it's too late, and I was wondering if there are any drawbacks to steroid injections, especially if not done by my surgeon? And also how to go about finding a reputable person in London just to do steroid injections on my nose, as this seems like maybe more of a niche procedure?
