Question

I had a hair transplant around 6/7 months ago from a clinic in Turkey. I’m not sure if the hair transplant has failed or not, I have had a PRP session on the 2nd month also to help promote healthy growth. Please see images attached for before operation and currently. Thanks

Hello, thank you for your question. Generally, at the 6-7 month mark after a hair transplant you should see about 50% of the full results and growth. I would recommend reaching out to your surgeon and asking them what they think of your progress. In my professional opinion you should wait until at least the 1 year mark to really assess your results, however based on my experience it does appear like it may be lacking in density. Regarding PRP, usually PRP treatments need to be continued in order to be effective.
