When you smile, you appear to have a large orbicularis muscle that forms a roll on both sides, and it appears to be larger on the left side than the right. This is also associated with small fat pads and you also have crow's feet when you smile. Perhaps you may be a candidate for lower eyelid blepharoplasty depending on your examination.

Crow's feet at the lateral corners of your eyes would be well addressed with a neurotoxin like botox. You are beautiful! But Botox will help to soften the bunching around your eyes when you smile. We should all have some movement/scrunching around our eyes which we refer to as "crows feet". A little movement is needed as we express ourselves with our eyes and our smile. But we can soften the amount of bunching that occurs with a little bit of Botox. Hope this helps!

This kind of "bunching" typically results from an overly active under-eye muscle. The use of a couple of microdroplets of Botox injected into the belly of this muscle can diminish this considerably. Volume deficit in the adjacent upper cheeks typically accentuates this problem. So, if this is indeed the case here, the use of an HA volumizing filler for the cheeks will not only create a more desirable oval, heart-shaped face, but will secondarily further improve the under-eye regions. Hello and thanks so much for your question. You might want to investigate neuromodulators to help relax the purse string muscles around your eyes. A few units (10-12) on each side would reduce this crinkling effect. A thin filler, such as Belotero, for the under eye tear trough area would also be worthy of consideration. These two strategies in combination can do a lot to rejuvenate the eyes.
