The porcelain veneers my dentist proposes to fit aren’t natural. What feedback can I provide for an improved result? 32 year old female.

Although more clinical studies would be necessary for a correct answer, from what we can see in the pictures your smile line does not coincide with the occlusal line of the veneers, making your smile look tense and unnatural. This would be solved by making a smile design, to determine the smile line with respect to the upper lip and other facial anatomical points. Also the color and transparency should be corrected to achieve a more natural result. You are correct, in your assesment- the veneers need a lower Value ( that will decrease the brightness). The y need to be slightly thinner facially, and I saw that your original teeth were short, But these are too long. They should never be the SAME length as the 2 center teeth. You can also ask for more translucency on the biting edge to match the center teeth
