Can you advise on pain at tip of the nose 6 months post-op?

If you are having a reaction to a permanent suture that may have been placed by your surgeon, there tends to be associated redness in the area of discomfort. Sometimes edges of nasal tip cartilage may feel firm and uncomfortable to the touch and this may not represent an infection or other problem. The best way to gain Clarity on your situation is to have your concerns addressed by your surgeon. Hello! Thank you for your question.I recommend you to go to your surgeon for a post-op check-up. I don't know if you got rib cartilage or ear cartilage to support the tip. If you can provide more information and photos I would be able to make a better evaluation.Best regards!

I’d be interested in finding out the details of your procedure. Many surgeons use cartilage grafts in the tip and sometimes patients complain if similar symptoms. You might want to consider removing the graft if that is the case.
