Lumpy lips after 4 months. What should I do? (Photos)

I had Teosyal Global Action filler in my lips just over 4 months ago. They were a bit bruised/swollen for a few days, but settled down. I now have extremely lumpy and sometimes quite swollen lips. I first noticed it after bumped my lip nearly 3 weeks ago. Then, I used some old lip gloss and it got worse so I saw my aesthetician who said it could be a reaction to the capsicum in it and said to double up on anti-h and prescribed 30mg x4days of steroids. It worked for a bit but now its loads worse

Turn your photos, you appear to have a swollen lip appearance on the left and a Smooth lip appearance on the right. If there are bothersome nodules in your lips, your doctor can offer either a dilute steroid injection or perhaps a dissolving enzyme. Since they are difficult to see, you may consider just leaving them alone. Hope this helps. Sincerely, Dr Joseph

If the situation is not resolving it is important to keep regular contact with your injector.  She/He is most familiar with the details of your treatment and what has been tried to this point.  If needed, HA fillers can be dissolved with hyaluronidase.
