When there there is too much of supra navel skin the fat removal can be not enough to address it. The amount of skin retraction after liposuction with or without technologies (vaser / jplasma/bodytite...) have a limit, and sometimes this outcome is not because of a bad / incomplete liposcution but is due to too much skin. In this moment swelling is still present and is better if you wait for at least a year after the surgery to know to final outcome and the need of a revision.

It’s not uncommon for providers who lack sufficient skills and experience to leave it a small oval of fat around the belly button. This simply needs to be revised. I do not recommend people travel long distances for elective surgical procedures. Ultimately your surgeon is responsible for the outcome of the procedure and you are responsible for choosing that surgeon.
We generally always need to see proper before, and after pictures to make an assessment on the outcome of a procedure. If you don’t have before, and after pictures, ask your surgeon to forward the ones they took.
