I've had my lips done multiple times in the past, but the last time was in January 2020, but I can still see it in my top lip and it looks like it's migrated slightly. Will it ever go down on its own or would I need it dissolved?

Answer: Lip Filler Migration Hi! This is a great question! Lip filler migration commonly occurs when the lips are injected improperly, or when the incorrect filler type is used. From the photo you provided, it does seem that there may be some migration. This can either dissolve over time, and you can help it along with gentle massage twice per day, or it can be dissolved with hyaluronidase in office. As always, an in person, in depth consultation is required to address the areas of concern and formulate the best treatment plan for you. Best,Eleni SgantzosBoard-Certified Dermatology PA
