Hip implants replacement?

I am thinking about hip implants but as someone that does not want to repeatedly have to go through surgery to achieve a certain outcome I am wondering do they have to be replaced at some point? How long are they supposed to last, 10 years, and will they cause issues if not removed ever

With the exception of breast implants, all body contouring implants are made out of solid material. Typically silicone for areas like the hip or buttocks.
The implants eventually become encapsulated with scar tissue, and are generally intended to be left in place and not removed unless there is a problem.
Body contouring with implants in areas other than the breast can be tricky, and the procedure has a significant incidence of complications and undesirable outcomes. The number of patients who maintain long-term satisfaction from this type of procedure, is a bit lower than some of the more common surgical operations.
There are a number of variables why the procedure isn’t straight forward and carries with it a higher degree of issues, long-term failure, and potential disappointments. Most plastic surgeons don’t offer the procedure and there’s probably good reason for this.
