I am thinking about hip implants but as someone that does not want to repeatedly have to go through surgery to achieve a certain outcome I am wondering do they have to be replaced at some point? How long are they supposed to last, 10 years, and will they cause issues if not removed ever

Unlike buttock and breast implants, hip implants are typically placed above the muscle. The implants are placed between the tensor fascia lata and the subcutanous fat. If you are very thin, the implant may be more visible, but usually there is enough soft tissue that hides the implant well.
