Hair dye and Accutane?

Question

Currently on accutane but wanted to ask; can I dye my hair using my regular black henna dye which contains Paraphenylenediamine (PPD)? I’m currently taking 40mg a day but fear that my dry scalp might trigger a reaction to the dye.

There are no direct contraindications. However, Accutane can make your scalp drier and more prone to be irritated. Follow with an ample amount of conditioner. I wish you the best!
