clearly your surgeon was not aggressive enough. Many surgeons rely on liposuction alone and i feel this is never adequate. I also treat these cases in the operating room with general anesthetic and i remove the tissues with surgical excision and i always place a drain on each side. The incision is only at the lower half of the areola. the drains are removed in about 5 days. Make sure that you see a board certified plastic surgeon with a strong interest in gynecomastia.best of luckdavid berman md, frcsc
