Hi, I got a chin implant around 3 years ago now. Whilst I think it has certainly improved my side profile I feel like the projection isn’t enough, I like the shape of my chin now but I still want further projection. Is it possible to have sliding genioplasty whilst keeping my chin implant? I contacted a clinic to ask if I was suitible for liposuction instead but they said am not a suitable candidate I was hoping this might have helped give me more definition on my jaw/ under chin not projection

There are several considerations. If you want more definition of the jawline and mandibular angle then you might consider angle of mandible implants. The chin can undergo a sliding genioplasty without implant removal. However, I would advise removal of the implant and allow the genioplasty to be moved forward as much as you would like. Remember, the sliding genioplasty allows your natural chin and chin shape to be moved forward and in this way it is the most natural result.
