So sorry this has happened to you. I caution my readers all the time that the use of permanent fillers (while enticing with the word "permanent") can translate into long-lasting to permanent adverse reactions. When an inappropriate filler is used in the under eye region and/or placed too superficially in this region, the result can be under eye "puffy pillows" (i.e. lymphedema/lymphatic obstruction). Even when reversible HA fillers have been used in this area, it can be a very difficult condition to treat, but all the more so when a permanent filler has been used. Surgery is, as was found out the hard way here, usually unsuccessful for dealing with this problem. I have had success using an algorithm consisting of varying injectable anti-inflammatory agents in varying amounts and concentrations. You would be wise to consult with an experienced, board certified cosmetic dermatologist. Hope this helps.
