Can you have another filler over Ellanse?

Hi, I had ellanse in my cheeks about 6 months ago, the look after 3 months was great but now it’s wearing off very quickly. This also happened the last time I had ellanse but thought I would try it again. Is there another cheek filler I could have 6 months after having ellanse? Thanks

Ellanse has a biphasic mode of action- meaning there is immediate volume replacement (due to the CMC gel), which breaks down quickly after 2-3 months, with the new collagen coming on later (3-6 months onwards). So there will be a period in between where the effect seems like it has faded off. My advice would be to wait for the new collagen to form before getting new fillers/injectibles. Also, best not to "mix" brands as if there is an issue it may be difficult to pinpoint the cause
