It's difficult to say through pictures alone but the lip augmentation seems to be balanced. Ultimately it is your opinion that matters most. Best, Dr. Emer
Hi, I don’t think it looks like too much. In fact it is hard to tell where exactly the filler was placed. Your face looks a bit wider and fuller which is a younger configuration, compared to a longer, narrower, drawn face. In your “before” photo, you don’t have any hollows that were visible, so the only differences are looking marginally wider which would be hard to tell for the casual observer. Of the 5 cc, perhaps, 1 of the syringes was placed in the lower lip and upper lip to define the upper lip. It looks fine, but I also thought your natural lips looked very nice already. With so many of the #Russianlips on Instagram, I think the young women and men are slowly being brainwashed to think this looks normal and everyone should do it. I think moderation is important. I ask my patients to provide younger photos of themselves to see if their lips have truly shrunk. If so, I will try to restore the lips to that level of volume, and maybe a touch more if they want it. I will avoid patients who are looking for #russianlips or have them seek multiple other injectors who will be happy to inject them to give them that look.
Your photos don't show any obvious "over filled" look. If you have concerns about your results and HA fillers were used, they can be dissolved with hyaluronidase. I encourage you to discuss your treatment with your injector and learn more about your options.
Harvesting is important to fat transfer. I use water-assisted fat harvesting which gives pure fat to transfer and combine with platelet rich plasma (PRP) to get the most viable and sustainable fat cells. This can be combined with Sculptra and/or implants to get desired results, if necessary. I...
Hello, and thank you for your inquiry! I think the best option for you based on your photo would be a combination of fillers. I would recommend cheek filler. This will give you more of a heart shaped face. By adding cheek filler it will help soften your nasolabial folds as well. You can also add...
I recommend fillers to soften the nasolabial folds themselves and also lift around the mouth and cheeks to build underlying anatomical support. In our practice we combine Sculptra with other fillers "layered" on top and lasers, skin tightening treatments such as Thermage, Fractora, and Renuvion...
