I got otoplasty about 2 years ago. Since then, i have been pleased with the results apart from on area on both ears just above the earlobe on the edge of the ears. The area is hard and stiff and still sticks out a bit as the stiffness seems to make it protrude unlike the rest of the ears which are relaxed. I don't know whether it is scar tissue or undissolved stitches but it makes it look like my ears stick out still. How can i fix this? Ideally without getting another procedure.

It would be difficult to give you good answer based on these photos. Revision otoplasty may sometimes be very difficult to perform. In person consultation with a board certified plastic surgeon, expert in otoplasty, is recommended. Good luck.
First, discuss this further with your surgeon to see if they can find any reason why you would be experiencing this. If they are of no help, see another otoplasty surgeon.
If there is nothing that can be found, then seek consultation with a neurologist who deals with chronic peripheral pain...
Hello! Thank you for your question. There is a procedure called ''reverse otoplasty'', so yes it is possible but in order to evaluate your case we need to see your photos to make a better evaluation.
