Puffy face 3 years after Voluma - what can I do about this? (photos)

The under eye area is very tricky because the skin is thin and it is a very tight compartment. I avoid putting fillers in this area because even a slight reaction to the foreign substance can be very visible. Fillers can last a very long time (not unusual to still have fillers present after 2 even 4 years) when placed in this area especially a longer lasting filler like Voluma. You may need to have another round of hyaluronidase injected to get rid of more of the filler. You may then consider a more regenerative treatment like PRP/PRF or nanofat injections to restore the volume. These are autologous treatments and unlikely to cause a reaction.

It may be that you still have some product present if you are still noticing puffiness under the eye. I encourage you to visit with an experienced injector who can treat with another dose of hyaluronidase if Voluma is still present. If there is no filler present further evaluation would be needed to determine the cause.
