Hi, I have these shadows that appear in room lighting and dim lighting, but are not evident in bright natural lighting. I’ve had some filler injected and it helped a bit but the doctor is refusing to add any more because they say they can’t see these indentations in their office lighting which is quite bright and shows my forehead as smooth. I was suggested to look into radiesse and Sculptra. Can anyone help? It gives me extreme distress over the years as it appeared when I was 20, now I’m 25.
Answer: Filler or fat grafting is your best option Hello, I believe filler or fat grafting to be your best option as a solution to this issue. You may need to go into lighting where the shadows become more evident, mark the areas for filler injection, and then do the injection in whatever room the provider prefers. Hope this helps-Dr. Halka

Answer: Forehead Lines / Wrinkles -- Neuromodulators (Botox/Dysport/Xeomin/Jeuveau), Fillers (Belotero) + Lasers/Microneedling/PRP Neuromodulators (such as Botox, Dysport, Xeomin, and Jeuveau) and soft tissue fillers like Belotero can improve the appearance of the forehead by reducing lines, wrinkles and folds. Deeper lines and wrinkles need a combination approach with Botox, fillers, lasers, and microneedling/PRP. I recommend getting a formal evaluation with a cosmetic dermatologist to develop a treatment plan that works for you. Best, Dr. Emer

Answer: Frontal indentations It sounds like you are experiencing some dissatisfaction with your appearance and are seeking solutions to address the shadows and indentations you are seeing in certain lighting conditions. It's important to understand that different types of fillers have different properties and are better suited for different types of concerns. Radiesse and Sculptra are two types of fillers that can be used to address volume loss and improve the appearance of facial wrinkles and folds. Radiesse is made of calcium hydroxylapatite microspheres suspended in a gel carrier, while Sculptra is made of poly-L-lactic acid. One potential benefit of Sculptra and radiesse is that it can stimulate your body's own collagen production, leading to gradual improvement over time. However, both of these fillers are typically used for deeper wrinkles and folds rather than surface irregularities. But they can be used when hyper diluted to stimulate a Collision and elastin, which can improve surface indentations. It's also important to keep in mind that the appearance of your forehead in different lighting conditions can be affected by the presence of shadows and the direction of light. So while fillers may help to smooth out some surface irregularities, they may not completely eliminate the appearance of shadows. If you are still interested in exploring filler options, it may be helpful to seek out a second opinion from another qualified injector who can evaluate your concerns and offer suggestions for treatment options. It's important to work with a qualified and experienced injector who can help you achieve your desired results while minimizing potential risks and complications.

Answer: Stomach sleeping Thank you for your question. My suggestion would be to use "frownies" while sleeping before going into more filler. These can be worn to prevent future lines and help with the lines that are already there. I would also suggest botox so those lines don't get worse with moving the muscle. Good luck on your journey!
