My doctor effectively dredged out the whole jawline and chin when injecting hyauloronic acid Volux fillers. He even commented that he was effectively ripping the skin away as he went along. Is this how it’s always done each time you come back to top off the fillers after 12ish months? It seems fairly invasive and aggressive (bruising / swelling etc) Because I would imagine a ton of scar tissue eventually forming from all the trauma and post-procedure inflammation.

I believe filler or fat grafting to be your best option as a solution to this issue. You may need to go into lighting where the shadows become more evident, mark the areas for filler injection, and then do the injection in whatever room the provider prefers.
