Dents and deformed nose - 1 year on from rhinoplasty (photos)

Question

I had a rhinoplasty eaxctly a year ago to narrow my tip. I have thick skin, had a lot of swelling and was told it would take a year to see final results. Well, it's been a year now. After 4 rounds of Kenalog injections (6 weeks apart) to try and reduce swelling and a shot of Restylane to try and disguise the deformed columella, this is how it looks now. On top of everything else, I seem to have developed dents from the injections. Any advice very much appreciated. Thank you.

Steroid injections can lead to skin thinning and visible irregularities. Microdroplet Silikon-1000 may be considered for permanently filling indentations that persist, without further surgery. Hope this helps. Dr Joseph

I suspect you have several cartilage grafts. These can sometimes feel hard and knobby. Sometimes it’s best to have the grafts removed. It also appears  you may have a columellar strut ( Google it). This may be causing your columella to be hard and hang.  You may want to look into what was done with your original rhinoplasty to see if what I’m saying applies to your situation
