I'm 35 and feel as though my face lacks structure and definition in the cheek, mid face and jaw area. I have had dermal fillers but wonder if surgery would be a better option? `

Hello, hope you are well. Buccal fat removal does not necessitate a facelift. Sometimes these procedures are performed together, but they are addressing relatively unrelated anatomical issues. Good luck!

It appears to me from your photos that you have prominent buccal fat pads. Each person is born with buccal fat pads. In the beginning, it takes time to understand the anatomy and location of the buccal fat pads. I would get another opinion form a surgeon that is very experienced with this procedure.
