Botox eyebrows dropped. It's been 4 months. Should I try to get more Botox now, or wait longer for the Botox to go away?

I had Botox a bit over 4 months ago and my eyebrows dropped 2 weeks after botox ( it also made my forehead look significantly taller) it has been awful experience. I now got more movement back ( but not all) but my eyebrows are still lower compared to before. As it s been 4 months should I try to get more botox now to get a lift or should I wait longer that all the Botox go away?

Botox results take up to 1-2 weeks and last up to 3-4 months in new areas of treatment. I recommend getting a formal evaluation with a cosmetic dermatologist. Dr. Emer

A board-certified facial plastic surgeon can help determine any issues you are having and recommend how long to wait before moving forward with more or different treatments. It is ideal to wait for your normal expressions to return before moving forward with treatments and having potentially unnatural results. However, it is also rare for results of a neuromodulator like Botox to last more than four months. Keep in mind that Botox can be used in combination with dermal fillers like Juvederm and Restylane to produce better results in some cases. Always work with a very experienced, qualified injector to ensure an optimal outcome.

I'm sorry to hear of the issues you had from your Botox treatment.  I encourage you to wait for the Botox effects to wear off completely and your movement and brow position to return to its pre-treatment state before considering further Botox.  Always select an experienced injector for your Botox treatment.

Good day and thank you for your question. In regards to botox it's a give and take. I think you have to ask yourself if your eyebrow position is acceptable at this time. If it is, then I would go ahead and get another treatment. If however you feel that your brow position is unacceptably too low then I would wait until the botox effect has completely dissipated and your eyebrow position is back to where it was before you had your treatment. If you feel like all your movement has not completely returned, I would recommend you wait and let the botox fully wear off. Different patients metabolize the botox differently so it may take a few more weeks to months before yours completely goes away

You should wait until your motion returns and the eyebrows return to their pre-Botox position prior to entertaining another round of Botox.  
You might want to refrain or reduce the number of units of Botox in the future.

It is always best to see you face to face for a consult and examination however in this case it would be best to give it another month to see how your brow settles. If you have had a strong dose of Botox it can take 4-6 months to wear off fully.  I hope that helps answer your question.
