I have a deep static from line between my eyebrow. I am only in my early 30s and was hoping this could be removed. My dermatologist said that Botox would be a solution but after reading reviews it seems that Botox does not help static frown liens . What can I do to reduce this?

Answer: Frown line Botox can help soften the appearance of this line, though it may not eradicate it completely. You can add other treatments to help improve skin tone and texture for further improvement such as lasers or Morpheus8. A combination of options may give you the best result,

Answer: For Dynamic Frown LInes--Botox: For Static Frown Lines--Filler Your problem is extremely common and is treated practically every day in an active cosmetic dermatology practice. First, it is important to understand that the static frown line is the result of years of dynamic muscle movement beneath the skin leading to permanent creasing of the skin, i.e. the permanent frown line you see. So, there are two components that need to be addressed in order to successfully treat this problem. First, the hypermotility of the culprit must be reduced (not "frozen," which would appear unnatural). Botox works great for that. Next, the crease that has been created over the years by that muscular movement can be elevated and smoothed with an appropriate HA filler. Both aspects can be done in a single treatment session if so desired and shouldn't take more than about five to tops ten minutes to do in experienced hands. So, worry no more. Just make sure to consult with an experienced, board certified cosmetic dermatologist and best of luck.
