People always tell me I look older than my age. I'm 20, but people always assume I'm at least in my mid-twenties, normally about 25/26. I dont smoke or drink much, but i have hollow under-eyes and nasolabial folds on one side of my face. I also think my face looks a bit harsh and gaunt, which is why people think I'm older than I am. Is it worth investing in botox and maybe filler? I want to look my age!

Answer: Younger look Botox and fillers are commonly used to help patients look younger. You're never too young to take care of your skin. We recommend healthy treatments such as facials and peels to keep the skin refreshed. We also encourage medical grade skin care products like Transform MD and wearing sunscreen every day.

Answer: Considering Botox and Filler for a More Youthful Appearance at 20 As a doctor, I can advise that Botox and dermal fillers are indeed options that could potentially help you address your concerns. Botox works by relaxing the muscles underneath the skin to reduce the appearance of lines and wrinkles. Dermal fillers, on the other hand, can add volume to areas of the face that appear hollow or gaunt, such as under the eyes or in the nasolabial folds. However, it's important to remember that you are still very young, and these treatments are typically used for aging skin. At your age, it's quite normal to have some facial asymmetry, and other factors, such as genetics, can also contribute to the appearance of your face. Also, remember that non-surgical interventions can also help improve the appearance of your skin. A healthy diet, regular exercise, adequate hydration, and a good skincare regimen can all contribute to a more youthful appearance. It's also crucial to protect your skin from the sun, as sun damage can accelerate the aging process. Lastly, consider the psychological aspect of your concern. It's normal to want to look your best, but it's also important to remember that everyone ages differently and at different rates. The goal of any cosmetic intervention should be to help you feel more confident and comfortable in your skin, not to conform to others' perceptions of how you should look.

Answer: Don't do anything to your face!!! I think that you face looks wonderful. It does not look old and I would not rush into doing anything with it at all. It is hard to see, because of the shadowing in photo, but if you have some volume loss in temples you can consider putting sculptra there as a rounder face looks more youthful. Other thought is that maybe your well styled hair gives you a more mature look and it has nothing to do with your face.Play with your hair a bit and see what you think .
