Im 37 and i believe over the past two years my eyelids have started to droop. I don't know if it's just me but it feels my eyelids are heavier and pulling down. I've attached a photo, do you think i'm a good candidate? Is this usual for somebody who hasn't reached 40 yet? Thanks G
Answer: Blepharoplasty: what you should know Thank you for your question and photo. You appear to be a candidate for upper blepharoplasty to improve eyelid droopiness. During this procedure, excess skin can be removed and the eyelid creases redefined to create a more youthful and awake appearance. I recommend scheduling an in-person consultation with an experienced, board-certified facial plastic surgeon. They will be able to discuss your concern with you and determine the best course of action.

Answer: Non-Surgical Chemical Brow Lift for Eyelid Rejuvenation -- add Ultherapy, Thread Lifting, RF Skin Tightening, Laser Treatments As we age, our eyelids naturally sag and droop. A combination approach would be best to see visible improvement. In terms of non-surgical treatment options, I would recommend a Chemical Brow Lift (using Botox, Dysport, Xeomin, or Jeuveau) and filler injections to rejuvenate the temples, eyebrow, eyelid, eye troughs, upper eye hollows, and forehead. I typically combine this with Ultherapy and thread lifting to lift the brow; RF and skin tightening laser treatments to stimulate collagen production and rejuvenate the skin; and laser or superficial RF devices for improvements in texture, color, and any crepey skin around the eyes as needed. In some cases, surgery is the best solution to achieve the desired results. See an expert for a formal consultation. Best, Dr. Emer.

Answer: Eyelid Surgery Hello! Thank you for your question. As far as I can see from your photo you have extra saggy skin above your eyes. Also your eye corners are very downward. For more fresh, upward, and clean eye area I suggest you endoscopic brow lift and upper eyelid blepharoplasty. If you can provide photos with better lighting, from the side of your face and 1 meter away I would be able to make a proper evaluation.Best Regards!

Answer: The Ten Minute Eyelift For Hooded Upper Lids The photos evidence significant upper lid hooding. Traditional, expensive upper lid blehpharoplasty is certainly an option here, but the expense and downtime of this traditional approach must be taken into account. You might wish to research The Ten Minute Eyelift, a procedure I performed on myself well over a decade ago for exactly this problem, which literally takes only five minutes per lid, and I was able to take an 11 hour transatlantic flight six hours later. Hope this helps and best of luck.

Answer: Blepharoplasty You do have a lot of excess skin for your age which can be genetic. You would do well with an upper eyelid blepharoplasty to remove some of the excess skin.
