I generally do not recommend people travel long distances for elective surgical procedures. The importance of having in person follow up is often underestimated. Your surgeon is responsible for the outcome of your procedure so if you have questions regarding the outcome, they should be addressed to your surgeon.
To make an assessment on the outcome of a procedure, we always need to see proper before and after pictures. If you don’t have proper before, and after pictures and ask your surgeon to forward the ones they took.
