Chin implant for enhanced symmetry? (Photo)

Question

Greetings, I would like to ask what kind of chin implant I could get to enhance the symmetry of my lower part of the face. As you can see on the pictures my chin and mouth are looks different from left to right. My chin deviates toward one side, which creates an uneven look. I’m looking for a permanent solution to make my chin look wider, more symmetrical and less pointy. Best regards Florian

Based on your photos, we can see a slightly deviated appearance to your chin, however, you appear to have adequate chin projection. In that regard I would not recommend a chin implant. Depending on your examination, microdroplet Silikon-1000 chin injections may be considered for improving upon the symmetry of your chin without the expense and inconvenience of undergoing surgery. I recommend you avoid surgical intervention for the purpose of correcting facial asymmetry.
Unless you need a chin implant, you shouldn’t have that procedure.
100% of people have facial asymmetry.
This is normal.
The human brain is accustomed to seeing all people with facial a symmetry and people typically don’t see it in other individuals.
You probably don’t see facial symmetry in your friends and family, for example.
 During embryological development, two sides of the face develop independently from each other and eventually fuse in the midline.
Facial asymmetry is based on skeletal structure.
It’s not just your chin that’s a symmetrical, but your face which is true for all people.
Simply attempting to manipulate an implant is unlikely to correct what you’re concerned about.
 This is better left untreated.
