How long is the wait from calling for a Rhinoplasty consultation to the actual surgery ?

In general, you'll want to make sure that you have enough time in between the consultation and the surgery to review the doctor's information and to ask any questions, so you are comfortable with your decision. With regard to specific timing, it all depends on how busy the practice is. It may be helpful for you to begin contacting board certified plastic surgeons in your area (who specialize in rhinoplasty) and asking them how far in advance they are scheduling surgeries. In most instances, patients are able to schedule their surgery when it is most convenient for them

How long is the time from consult until surgery? This depends on how busy the surgeon is and is usually 3 months in our practice. Postponements occur so that can be possible.

There is no minimum waiting period between the two events-  it really depends upon the surgeons' availability and your personal schedule.in my office, we are typically booked out by 2 to 3 months. If there is a cancellation, there can occasionally be earlier openings.I would recommend having your consultation soon. Then, when the time is right, you can call and book your surgery. Otherwise, if you wait to call for a consultation, there may be a couple months wait for the consultation, followed by 2 to 3 months to book the surgery. 

This is highly variable. However, you would be best served by seeking a consultation now. That will give you enough time to digest all of the information available to you and ensure that you find the right surgeon. You will also know how much you need to save. This will also give you and your parents plenty of time to discuss the procedure and make sure that you are all on the same page.
