Question

5 wks post op breast reduction and my areoles and nipples are still different heights and shape. My breast are also still didn't sizes. Is it likely they will even out or am I stuck with them like this. I'm so disappointed with them so far and starting to regret the surgery. I wanted breast that were even ( as much as possible) and so I would feel confident wearing clothes without a bra. Which I wouldn't be as they are now. I've put a before photo and after. At 5 weeks, you have overall a nice result with mild asymmetry which may well improve over time.  If the symmetry does not fully correct, a minor revision could give you further improvement.  I would continue to follow up with your surgeon and be patient. I think your result with time will be excellent.

Thank you for your pictures. You have some mild asymmetry to your breast. You are  just over one month from your surgery. I would allow an additional two months minimum to pass before  judging your results. Continue to see your plastic surgeon as he or she directs.

As you have likely heard, it is much too early to evaluate the final outcome of the procedure performed. At this point, five weeks out of surgery, it seems that you are doing well and should have a very nice outcome with the procedure performed. I would suggest ongoing patience and close follow-up with your plastic surgeon. If in the longer term, you have concerns about significant areola or breast asymmetry, then relatively minor additional surgery will likely  be necessary to improve your outcome. Again, do your best to stay emotionally even keeled in the meantime. Best wishes for outcome that you will be pleased with longer-term.

Five weeks is still early in the healing process.  Also, from the photo's you posted, I think they look very good at this stage.  Areola's aren't symmetrical naturally, nor are breasts, but they look pretty close at this point.

There is some mild asymmetry with your nipples but you are very early in the post op period. I would wait a least 6 months then see if any revision is needed.
