I breathe 80% from right nostril and 20% from left nostril - Is septoplasty necessary for me?
I have deviated septum to right and I breathe 80% from nostril and 20% from left nostril that too when turbinates are not swollen. I have severe pollen, nut and dust allergies. So, turbinates or right nostril are most of the time are swollen and nostril blocked. So, I always sleep on left side. As I am becoming older (55 now), I am getting left ear problems. I am considering septoplasty without touching turbinates. My turbinates are very sensitive and I can smell things which most people don't smell. Please advice
