2 years post septorhinoplasty - is the tip of my nose scar tissue? Can this be improved? (Photos)

Hi, I had a septorhinoplasty over 2 years ago and I think I have scar tissue at the tip of my nose, can someone please confirm? I do believe I have thick skin but I am not sure.

Unfortunately, you have not provided before photographs. Also, it is impossible to tell from photographs alone whether you have scar tissue. You will need to be physically examined with palpation performed to determine what is going on exactly, You do appear to need a revision of your rhinoplasty.

Hello and thank you for your question. Based on your photographs, you may benefit from a rhinoplasty. A surgeon can accomplish this by trimming, suturing, and reshaping the cartilage in your lower nose. Fascial grafts may also be used to help improve tip refinement. With good surgical technique, you could have an outstanding result. I recommend that you seek consultation with a qualified board-certified rhinoplasty surgeon who can evaluate you in person.
