How long does it take to see results from having laser lipo chin/neck? (Photo)

Will the double chin and side fat go away. I originally wanted a mini facelift, I was told I wouldn't see results with a lower facelift, I don't want any fat left on my face, i don't look feminine at all, very depressed. I had mine done 4 days ago and barely notice any definition at all compared to my pre procedure.

Thank you for your question!It is too soon to tell what your final results will be. However, for necks if  you cannot smile properly its best to start lymphatic massage, oral steroids, and  RF treatments like  venus legacy and exilis ultra.  You can have swelling which can last 3-6 months after your procedure.  I recommend adding  lymphatic massage along with your compression to help decrease swelling. To improve your final results, I also recommend adding exilis/venus legacy for skin tightening. Give it some additional time and keep in touch with the physician who performed the surgery. Best, Dr. Emer

After a liposuction procedure the treated area will be swollen and results may not be as visible until the swelling subsides. Patients typically wear a compression garment for at least a month to help the swelling come down and aid in the healing process. 
Liposuction is a procedure that is used to remove fat and not skin.  The laser component of a laser lipo treatment will help with some skin tightening provided that the skin is of mild to moderate laxity. 
Initial results can be seen as early as three weeks but final results of a liposuction procedure will be seen at 3 months when the body has fully healed. As always, continue to attend all follow-up appointments and follow your surgeons post-op care instructions.

At 4 days post procedure, most patients can not really see any results due to the post procedure swelling. Usually about 70% of the swelling is gone at 1 month so it may be awhile before you will start seeing your desired results. Keep following your physician's recommendations for post-care and definitely keep your follow-up appointments so that photos can be taken to monitor your results. Hi there! The good news is - you are still in the swelling phase of post-lipo, so it is nearly impossible to see definition and results only a few days out. Most patients will start to see results are the 2-week mark after the swelling has subsided. Though everyone is different and it can take as long as 6-8 weeks to see full results. Make sure to keep following up with your provider to track your progress.

You will definitely get some swelling after Smartlipo in the submental area. I have done lots over the years. sometimes, you can see results in 2 weeks sometimes but I have had numerous patients, who it took 2 months just to start to see a difference- It is very important to remember that you will keep improving for 6 months, so you need to be patient. How good a result you will get is partly a function of your skin tone, which can correlate with age. I have found that once most people are over mid-50's in the upper neck area, there ability for their skin to tighten goes down. It is fine to try the Smartlipo but they have to know that if they don't get enough tightening, then they will either need to accept this or consider a facelift.david berman md

on your recent procedure...The procedure of liposuction is an "insult"
to the soft tissues, resulting in inflammatory swelling which will initially totally obscure
the operative result. 
60-80%
of the swelling should subside within the first 6 weeks, with the remainder
slowly subsiding over 6-12 months.
Continue
followup care with your plastic surgeon...You have a way to go!

Jawline Lipo can be a great minimally invasive way to get the look you like, but sometimes a face lift is a better option.Healing goes in phases.
