Will the double chin and side fat go away. I originally wanted a mini facelift, I was told I wouldn't see results with a lower facelift, I don't want any fat left on my face, i don't look feminine at all, very depressed. I had mine done 4 days ago and barely notice any definition at all compared to my pre procedure.

However, for necks if you cannot smile properly its best to start lymphatic massage, oral steroids, and RF treatments like venus legacy and exilis ultra. You can have swelling which can last 3-6 months after your procedure. I recommend adding lymphatic massage along with your compression to help decrease swelling. To improve your final results, I also recommend adding exilis/venus legacy for skin tightening. Give it some additional time and keep in touch with the physician who performed the surgery. Answer: Laser Lipo Recovery After a liposuction procedure the treated area will be swollen and results may not be as visible until the swelling subsides. Patients typically wear a compression garment for at least a month to help the swelling come down and aid in the healing process.

Usually about 70% of the swelling is gone at 1 month so it may be awhile before you will start seeing your desired results. Keep following your physician's recommendations for post-care and definitely keep your follow-up appointments so that photos can be taken to monitor your results. I have done lots over the years. sometimes, you can see results in 2 weeks sometimes but I have had numerous patients, who it took 2 months just to start to see a difference- It is very important to remember that you will keep improving for 6 months, so you need to be patient. How good a result you will get is partly a function of your skin tone, which can correlate with age. I have found that once most people are over mid-50's in the upper neck area, there ability for their skin to tighten goes down. It is fine to try the Smartlipo but they have to know that if they don't get enough tightening, then they will either need to accept this or consider a facelift.david berman md
