Although it is recommended that women do not get cosmetic procedures while pregnant almost all procedures have not been studied in clinical trials on pregnant women so we do not know if it is safe. If you do move forward with treatments, you do so at your own risk, however, I have had many women do injectables like Juvederm/Restylane/Belotero/Prollineum Versa/Radiesse and Botox/Dysport/Xeomin without any issues. Peels, lasers, and skin care should all be safe as they do not penetrate into the systemic system. It is advised not to use topical vitamin A producs/retinols or of course not oral spironolactone or isotretinoin. But if you chose to get a cosmetic treatment while pregnanty you will do so at your own risk/chance. Most of my patients to skin care, peels, and facials and advoid lasers except for Aerolase/Laser Genesis and Clear and Brilliant or Venus Viva nanofractional RF, red/blue Light Stim, and injectables. Best, Dr. Emer.
