Is it normal to just feel heat on both sides and not on the stomach area when ur doing Vanquish for the abdomen?

today was my first Vanquish treatment on my abdomen, i only noticed the heat on my sides only and nothing on my stomach area, is that normal? even when the treatment was over my sides felt pretty warm and my stomach was fairly cool. cooling fan was on but wasn't facing my stomach. the lady who preformed the treatment is very sweet but fairly new so i just want to be sure.

The BTL Vanquish targets fat cells directly under the skin via radio frequency. The panels emit the same radiofrequency across the entire device. It is normal for your sides to be a little sorer than abdomen area, most people naturally carry a little more weight there.

The vanquish applicator is made to give the same amount of radiofrequency energy throughout the treatment zone, and this can be verified on the device readout. Some areas on the body are more sensitive than others, and the amount of heat felt or produced within the fat itself can vary depending on thickness of the layer and hydration.As a patient have had the treatment myself. It was very effective with a 1.5 inch waist reduction. I do recall the lateral sides being more sensitive than the lower abdomen and lower back.

It's difficult to say, but the treated area will receive deep heating as a result of a Vanquish treatment. I recommend following up with your provider about your concerns. Keep in mind, with Vanquish, a combination of treatments is needed. I recommend combining Vanquish with Venus Legacy/Exilis Ultra treatments. We currently use a fire and ice treatment with Coolsculpting and Vanquish for good results in fat removal. However, a VASER hi definition procedure would give you the best results with fat removal, contouring and definition. See an expert for a formal evaluation. Best, Dr. Emer

You have a legitimate concern. Rest assured this is normal. Vanquish delivers the same amount of radiofrequency across all the panels and the entire treatment area. The love handles tend to be a bit more sensitive than the middle of the belly. It's a fantastic treatment and you should get great results. If you are still concerned, you should discuss this with the person administering your treatments.
