When will stitches behind my ear dissolve after otoplasty? (photo)

I have done otoplasty roughly 1 month and half ago. And these stitches are still behind my ears until now. They are fairly noticable. Can I try to remove them?

I'm sorry but I can not see any external sutures.  I do see hyperpigmented scarring. I wouldn't remove anything on your own.  You might compromise your result.  Your best bet would be to return to your surgeon and ask his/her advice.

I would not recommend that you remove stitches yourself. The time it takes for stitches to dissolve varies with the type of stitch. I advise you to contact your plastic surgeon who did the surgery for their advice.Best wishes
