I'm 35 and I've had this scar since i was 4 years old. Would like to see my options in fading this chicken pox scar on my nose
Answer: Deep acne and chicken pox scars The options available for acne scars depend on the character of your scars, in terms of topography and contour. We see atrophic and hypertrophic acne scars, as well as scars that have hypo and hyperpigmentation. We begin each scar evaluation with an assessment of scar quality and subtype. Our main concern is rebuilding collagen and that is why we use a HIDEF protocol that includes combination therapy. Morpheus 8, scar subcision, fibrous release, fractional laser, CO2 laser, Thulium laser, PDL Vbeam laser, and fractional resurfacing can be used in addition to TCA Cross and chemical peels to further improve skin. Patients should start Melarase AM and Melarase PM for active hyperpigmentation. Always begin with a consultation to decide whether early subcision should be started. Answer: Skin Treatments I recommend looking into microneedling and/or chemical peels. Both of those skin treatments will help to reduce the appearance of the scar and promote collagen growth. Multiple treatments will get you the better outcome.

Answer: Subcision To Elevate & Smooth & Professional Microneedling to Improve Color & Texture Of Chickenpox Scars Subcison, which I have been performing since 1994, can be used to elevate and smooth all kinds of indented scars, including chickenpox scars. Following this, professionally performed Dermastamp microneedling, which I have been performing for twenty-three years, can be used, if desired, to improve any irregularities in the surface color and texture of the scar. Make sure to consult a board certified cosmetic dermatologist with extensive scar treatment experience, and exercise a healthy dose of "buyer beware" when offered a host of supposedly "next big things" bells and whistles, like fraxel lasers and RF devices, where the hard the science to support their use lags woefully behind the heavy marketing to promote these relatively expensive treatments. Hope this helps. Best of luck.

Answer: Fade away chicken pox scars is now easy! Where small chicken pox scars or acne scars were once barely treatable, it has now become routinely achievable and predictable with Morpheus 8 technology. I recommend a series of three treatments spaced 6 to 8 weeks apart to see results. Sometimes you may need a second series.
