Moderate to severe pain with nausea from silicone breast implant rupture. Could the silicone be migrating?

I have discovered through ultrasound and mammogram that my Left breast 21 year old under muscle silcone breast implant has ruptured. I have been having moderate to severe burning throbbing pain and nausea for 1 week radiating to my back. It is ruptured under the axila and right of the nipple. I am awaiting a Plastic Surgeon consult. I have been told and read there shouldn't been this much pain. They are still supple and soft , and no change in shape. Could the silcone be migrating?

Is highly unlikely the symptoms you described as a result of a failed silicone implant. The capsule of forms around each and every implant invariably will contain all of the silicone. Molecular amounts only would ever make it beyond the capsule.

Symptoms such as these with silicone rupture are fairly common as there is a release of chemicals into your system probably due to the lack of a well formed capsule which is sometimes protective.  Silicone migrates via the lymphatics to the lymph nodes in the axilla, and can migrate widely throughout the body from there.  It is important to have a total capsulectomy with drains for about a week as soon as possible.
