I’m interested in having a chemical peel done, however I work with the public and it’s difficult for me to take time off. If I were to do a light chemical peel, approximately how much down time am I looking at? And is there a significant difference for a medium peel?

Answer: Chemical Peel we currently offer seven different strength peels. Every patient's skin is different, meaning they need different ingredients and concentrations in order to achieve the best result. Our team of specialists are extremely well-versed in the varying peel strengths and can determine the best course of action for you. If you were to do a light chemical peel you would not have any downtime. No redness or flaky skin.

Answer: Downtime for chemical peel? Hello - for your lifestyle, it may be preferable to have a series of monthly light peels rather than one medium depth peel. You can achieve excellent results, and most people can cover the flaking that occurs for the week after each peel with moisturizer and still go to work like normal. I hope this helps! - Dr. Brown
