My hair remains thin from TE in the summer of 2016 in the left side of my whorl. I've read some dermatology textbooks and they indicate AGA is more symmetrical. The picture that I have shows that I have less density in this particular spot. My dermatologist told me that he sees upright regrowing hairs in this particular area. Do you think it is AGA and why? Or do you think I am recovering from TE and why?

Any hair growth as a result of treatment would need continued treatment for maintenance. Hair therapy is generally for maintenance rather than a short term curative goal.
Good luck!
